The concept here's pretty simple. We'll construct a story, with each participant posting one word of the story at a time. Punctuation does not count, so feel free to end sentences where you feel appropriate. And don't feel bound to any particular plot. The point of this thread is its pointlessness, so I'll start us off with the first word:
